Wallaby Lodge
The house has 5 bedrooms (4 doubles and one with twin singles).
All bedding and towels are provided.
The "Main House" has 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and
microwave. Dining room to seat 10. Bathroom and separate toilet. It also has a
laundry with another fridge…ideal for beer, wine and soft drinks!
The lounge room has lots of comfy seating as well as TV, DVD and VIDEO
players.
There is a combustion fire for winter, and reverse cycle air conditioning for
year round comfort.
The "Guest Suite" which is in the same house has 2 bedrooms, a bar counter, dining
and lounge room. There is a three way bathroom, and internal and external access
from the Main house to the Guest suite.
There are wide verandahs front and back with lots of casual seating and a gas
BBQ. Covered parking for 4 cars.
There also an outdoor wood fuel BBQ next to the pool.
Kookaburra Hideaway
The house has 4
bedrooms, a very large (and we mean large) Lounge, Dining and Kitchen area with seating both indoor and outdoors for 10 persons, plus coffee tables and chairs are scattered around the verandahs, swimming pool and barbecue area. There is also a laundry and dishwasher and reverse cycle airconditioning or fans in all rooms.
All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (2 with
spa baths). The East Wing is a large King bedded Suite with seating area and Spa Bathroom. The remaining bedrooms are in the West Wing, 2 x King Rooms that can be split into Twins and 1 x Twin room (2 double beds), all of these rooms have their own bathrooms.
There are enormous verandas all round the house that
spill
out onto countryside and allow you to savour the wildlife that
abounds.Whether you want to enjoy your own space or be part of a group
of people
sharing, there is plenty or room to relax.
We have fully approved disabled access facilitlies and 1 of our bathroom is Wheelchair friendly.
We also have ample undercover parking for 4 cars.
What to bring…Although both houses are fully equipped with just about everything you will
need including all your linen/towels etc., please remember to bring...
- Your clothes and personal items - and food and drink of course!
- Good bush shoes and socks if you plan on walking around our lovely countryside
- Travel cot and bedding if you are bringing a baby.
- Some Videos or DVDs.
- Books and/or magazines
- Board Games
- We provide some tea, coffee, sugar and milk to get you started, but most people do a shop at Woollies or Coles in Cessnock or Rutherford on the way to the property
- We also provide soap and loo rolls, but not shampoo or hairdryers
- BYO sunscreen and pool towels!
Other than that... just relax and have a good time......
