Kookaburra Hideway (also known as Hunter Wedding Hideaway) will provide the perfect location for  the wedding ceremony you've always dreamed of as well as providing luxury accommodation for the bride and groom and guests, in either Kookaburra Hideaway, Wallaby Lodge or both properties.

We canoffer so many different & wonderful settings. The choice is endless.

  • On the Verandah overlooking the Hunter and open Countryside
  • Inside our enormous lounge/dining area for smaller groups.
  • Beside the dam in our wedding pergola overlooking the dam and Hunter Countryside
  • In our outdoor covered wedding area adjacent to Kookaburra Hideaway

Depending on the size of your wedding party, wedding Receptions can either be held inside the house, on the Verandah or in our grounds (maximum 50 persons inside), or Marquee hire is pemissable. Wherever you have your wedding on our site it will be warm, relaxing and memorable, surrounded by open countryside with stunning views over the Hunter Valley
