Discounts
All discounts must be requested at time of enquiry; are based on rack rate for direct bookings; discounts cannot be applied retrospectively and cannot be combined with any other promotional rate.
Hospitality Industry: 10% off rack rate ( individual employee only)
Senior Card holders: 5% off rack rate (individual cardholder only)
If possible regardless of the above percentage discounts, we will always try to give you the best rate at the time of booking in acknowledgment of your industry standing.
Requests for discounts must be supported by original ID/Seniors Cards or Original Letters from employers. Failure to produce evidence at check-in will mean that full price may be charged. Hospitality industry staff must adhere to code of conduct befitting their industry.
*During peak times and busy periods it is possible that a minimum rate of $1800 per weekend applies at Wallaby Lodge and $2180 per weekend at Kookaburra Hideaway. Discounts may not apply during peak periods and events.
Deposits:
A deposit of $600 of total price and credit card details for security are required for all bookings, with the balance payable at least 30 days in advance, unless other arrangements have been made with the Management. (See terms and conditions)
To pay your deposit by PayPal secure encrypted merchant service please click on the "pay now" icon below, this will take you to the secure PayPal site where you can pay your $600 deposit in order to enable us to confirm your booking.
Alternatively, if you need to pay a lesser or greater amount please ring us on 0417 680225 and we will take your credit card details over the phone.
Extra persons payment $50 per person per night.

Terms & Conditions Kangaroo Creek Retreat (incorporating Wallaby Lodge and Kookaburra Hideaway and all property at 336 Old North Road, Pokolbin, NSW 2320)
- $600 deposit on total tariff is payable at time of booking and a Credit Card number (for security) is required to confirm booking. Balance of total amount is required at least 30 days prior to booking date. If payment is being made by direct bank account credit, a further $200 or $500 bond must be paid, depending on property, or a pre-authorised credit card provided, prior to check-in. Payment of your deposit constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Once a booking has been confirmed, all other enquiries for that date are automatically turned away therefore cancellations will incur a fee of all or part of your deposit and/or a cancellation fee of $50.00. This is entirely dependent on the notice given for the cancellation and whether the property can be re-let for the cancelled period, with no loss to Kangaroo Creek Retreat. In the event of a re-let that covers the full cost of the booking, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged to cover administration and extra advertising. Short notice cancellations where no re-let is possible will incur 100% loss of tariff.
- Maximum 12 adults in Wallaby Lodge, 10 persons in Kookaburra Hideaway
- To cover our costs for smaller groups minimum rate $350 per stay depending on the turn around requirements for property.
- All damages, losses and excessive cleaning will be charged for. Honest reporting of any breakages is appreciated and will influence charging for damages.
- Bond of at least $200- $500 will be payable by credit card pre-authorisation or bank transfer at the same time as the balance amount or at least one week prior to arrival by arrangement. If bond is not pre-authorised then access details to the property will not be given and the booking may be forfeited with no refund. The bond will be refunded within 7 days in full subject to the house being left in good order and undamaged. This is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc.
- 2pm check-in and 10am check-out, unless by prior written agreement
- No Smoking inside house, ashtrays provided outside
- Functions and parties for guests other than those declared and staying in house as guests at Kookaburra Hideaway and Wallaby Lodge are not allowed without prior written permission from owners. An per person function fee is normally charged for functions depending on the event and numbers involved.
- Camping and Campervans are not allowed on the property without prior written consent.
- Wallaby Lodge and Kookaburra Hideaway are farm style properties and due care is advised with regards to on-site fences, dams and local fauna
- Guests are welcome to look through the vineyard, however please do not take cuttings. During harvest it is okay to pick grapes, with prior permission from the Managers/owners.
- Guests must exercise caution when on the property with appropriate clothing and protection for bush walking worn at all times
- Dangerous activities are prohibited on the entire property (336 Old North Road, Pokolbin, NSW 2320) including, but not limited to 4WD driving, motorcycling, horse riding, shooting, hard ball sports (including golf) and any other uninsured activity. We do not accept responsibilities for unauthorised behaviour and activities.
- Vehicles must not driven or parked on anything other than the designated gravel driveways and parking areas, particular in wet weather conditions. Damage to grassed areas may affect Bond.
- Wet weather access to property is via covered car ports.
- Children must be supervised at all times

Pets Policy
We love animals, however because we have an abundance of wildlife at Kangaroo Creek Retreat we do need to be careful as to the kind of animals we allow to accompany our guests, just in case they scare our precious wildlife away. Please contact us via email or phone and let us know what type of animal/s you would like to bring with you and we will let you know if we think it is a good mix. We reserve the right to charge a "pet bond" for certain types of animals.
